l'Histoire du chateau - Part 6
Everyday I walk around, I see something that could be renovated. Maybe not so much for functional reason, but for decorative reason to bring value above the norm. In the case of mirrors, I just didn't like the plain block of mirror that sits in every bathroom. At the same time, I don't have the resources for $200 vanity mirror. Instead, I spend about $30 to get decorative moldings, paint them, and attach them around the mirror. Don't they look anything but inexpensive?
(Dry-run of unfinished molding pieces and corners, hold in place temporarily by masking tape.)

(Prime and paint each pieces on both sides.)

(Screw-in placement blocks along the side of mirror.)

(Nail-in the molding corners and pieces, glue on the lone-star extras.)
