Her Eyes
By James Tseng
To common observers, they are ordinary
But to me, they are celestial pearls.
Two beautiful little creations by themselves
Both equal in elegance,
But different in their own little way.
Looking in them, and seeing
Her thoughts, her dreams, and a striking, wonderful thing
Nameless and indescribable it is,
But the most wonderful and beautiful of all
Just like her,
Perhaps someday a name for it will arise
For now it will just remain obscure.
The most charming eyes
As to imagine staring at them and watching them
Inexpressible they are
But evanescent and seldom.
Perchance someday I will be able to
Hold the beautiful owner of those precious eyes.
For now glancing at them,
Dreaming about them,
Imagining that I will be lost in those
Perfect, enchanting, lovely, brown eyes.
